Olivia was born on October 11, 2003. She has been the greatest delight and such a strength to our family. She constantly makes us laugh with all her antics and takes such good care of her brothers. She's the best start to our family. On her birthday we took the kids to Applebees for lunch and then we celebrated with a party for her cousins and family. She requested a Star Wars party. How fun it was

Celebrating 5 years of Olivia Ann

Olivia's favorite past time is dressing up. She changes her outfit an average of 5 to 10 times a day. She'll disappear for a few minutes and then she'll come out wearing some new crazy concoction. When we go out she wears her "girl clothes" and she lets me fix her hair. As soon as we get home, out goes the barrette,slick goes the hair and off with the girly stuff. Before I can bat an eye there she is in her Prince/Aladdin/Storm Trooper/Amish Preacher get up.

"My fellow Amish, the time has come. Let us hitch our buggies and head west."

Let me guess..... A Chinese, bike riding, weightlifter?

She pretty much has an affect on all of us!!

Reunion and Float Pictures

Our family enjoys the Manassa, Colorado Pioneer Day Celebration every year. This year we decided to build and enter a float in the parade. The theme was Sego Lillies. The kids had so much fun throwing candy and jammin out to Uncle Abe's fun, fast tunes. We're excited to come up with a new theme for next year. Thanks to all who helped make this possible. Especially Papa Sego.

Olive's First Trip to Disneyland

In April we took a special trip to Disneyland. We wanted Olive's first time to be wonderful and so we decided to treat just her. I got online and researched the trip and discovered she met almost all the heighth requirements for the rides so we thought this would be a perfect time to take her. The boys, all though left behind, had a wonderful time being spoiled by Grandma and Grandpa. We packed the van and went for 4 days with Papa Sego and Abe and Erin family. We spent two days in Disneyland and enjoyed the rides, great food and treats and the parades. Olivia's favorites were the Thunder Mountain Railroad, Space Mountain, and the Electric Parade. The trip was a blast. Mike and I loved haveing the one-on-one time with just Olivia. She was a trip, full of joy and incredible energy.

Olive's favorite ride was Thunder Mountain Railroad, we rode it 4 times. Her face says it all.


Olivia loved the rides but in close comparrison she probably got as much thrill jumping off the sidewalk steps and lane barriers. In fact she was constantly getting busted by the Disneyland employees for hanging on ropes and climbing on the fake dacor that surrounded each ride.

We spent our trip with Papa Sego, Uncle Abe and Erin and their girls, Avalie, Mia and Emma.
